Under the Garib Dassi Sect "Satguru Brahma Nand Bhuriwale" floated a Maharaj Bhuriwale Garib Dassi Education Trust Regd. Pojewal, Teh. Balachaur, Distt. Nawanshahar,Punjab(India) on 18 th June 1984. The trust was registered in the office of Sub Registrar Balachaur vide Registration No. 509 dated 18.05.84

It has been registered at the office of Commissioner Income Tax Jalandhar vide Registration No. CIT/JL/Trust-168/02-03/5058 dated 23.01.04 under Section 12 AA(b) (i) of the Income Tax Act 1961. The Trust has also obtained Exemption under Section 80 of the Income Tax Act 1961.

The main objective of the Trust is the promotion of Education in Arts, Science, Commerce and Technology especially Education in Backward Area of India like Kandi (in the Foothills of Shivalik) of Distt. Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahar & Ropar(Punjab). It is further necessary to enlighten the people of this area to become part and parcel of the main stream of the nation in the field of Social, Cultural, Moral and Spiritual Participation by shaping the poor lot of the down trodden residents of the said area. The Trust engages itself in the activities of providing education in all spheres of life and also for creating a sense of public prosperity, honesty and patriotism in the minds of the future generations.

To establish educational institutions in the field of Arts, Science and Commerce.
To set up other vocational, technical and educational institutions.
To make special arrangements for female education and to equip the women to shoulder future responsibilities at home and acquire respectable position in the society.
To prepare and equip students for various competitive examinations.
To encourage students to achieve excellence in sports and athletics
To promote interest in Indian culture and literature.
To foster essential characteristics of discipline spirit-de-corps, building character, team work, physical development, sense of chivalry, fair play etc.
To inculcate the spirit of dedication to duty.
To propagate the teachings of Saints and spiritual education.

Maharaja Bhuriwala Garib Dassi College at Pojewal, Teh. Balachaur, Distt. Nawanshahr, which was taken over by Punjab Government in the year 1986-1987. The Trust donated 15 acres of land along with building to Punjab Govt.
